There as many different types of Rainmakers as there are snowflakes from the sky. I have met Rainmakers who are shy and sit behind their computer all day. I have met networking Rainmakers and marketing Rainmakers.
What I have never met is a lazy Rainmaker.
Rainmakers are like the Energizer Bunny. They like to come up with new ideas and figure out new ways to find business. They read books like this one, attend panels of listing agents at conventions and are willing to try things that are not exclusively made “for Realtors®”.
They are not timid little lambs who are willing to wait around for leads. No matter their personality type, they are out there pushing the boundaries of what normal agents think are reasonable levels of work or effort.
